Your Home, Hand-Painted & Homegrown

Welcome to DIYDecorBlog!

Whether you’re standing in the middle of a hardware store aisle or a farmer’s market, it’s all about the same thing: Potential. That old wooden crate could be your new favorite bookshelf, and those seasonal vegetables could be the centerpiece of a five-star dinner.

I started this space to document my journey in turning a house into a home—one coat of paint and one head of kale at a time.

The Philosophy: “The Whole-Home Approach”

Most people keep the workshop and the kitchen in separate boxes. I like to keep them together. Why? Because the creativity it takes to choose a color palette is the same creativity it takes to balance the flavors in a roasted beet salad.

On DIYDecorBlog, we focus on:

  • Elevated DIY: I’m not into “Clutter-Core.” I’m here to show you how to create high-end, modern decor on a “oops-I-spent-my-budget-on-plants” price tag.
  • The Veggie Life: No boring salads here. I share hearty, vibrant, vegetarian recipes that even your “meat-and-potatoes” friends will ask for seconds of.
  • Sustainable Style: I love upcycling furniture and cooking with the seasons. It’s better for your wallet and better for the planet.
